Knowing the timing matters when the car is being worked on at your home or office. Here are realistic ranges rather than optimistic ones.
Vehicle size and condition shift these numbers, sometimes considerably.
Typical durations
- Maintenance hand wash: 60-90 minutes
- Interior vacuum and refresh: 45-75 minutes
- Interior detail with extraction: 2.5-4 hours
- Full interior and exterior detail: 3-5 hours
- One-step machine polish: 5-7 hours
- Multi-stage correction: one to two full days
- Ceramic coating including prep: one to two days, plus cure time
- Headlight restoration: 60-90 minutes
What extends an appointment
Heavy pet hair, ground-in stains, extensive sap or dropping etching, and larger vehicles all add time. So does a location that requires moving the vehicle or long hose runs from the van.

Do I have to be present for the whole appointment?
No. We need access at the beginning and end. Most customers go about their day in between.
Can a coating be done in one visit?
Application yes, but the vehicle needs to stay dry during the cure window afterward, which we will explain when scheduling.
