Car Interior Steam Cleaning

Low-moisture heat for vents, seams, cup holders, and touch points.

Steam is the right tool where liquid volume is a problem: vents, switch surrounds, cup holders, seat belt buckles, seams, and door jambs. Heat breaks down grime with very little water, so nothing pools where it should not.

It is also useful for lifting set-in grime from textured plastics that brushes alone leave dull.

Where steam is used

  • Air vent slats and the dust that packs behind them
  • Cup holders, console trays, and door pockets
  • Seat seams, stitching, and belt buckle housings
  • Textured plastic trim and pedal areas
  • Light fabric spot work where extraction would be excessive

Limits worth knowing

Steam is not a substitute for extraction on soiled carpet — it loosens soil but does not remove volume. On screens, glossy piano-black trim, and delicate coatings we use towels and gentler methods to avoid heat damage.

Frequently asked questions

Is steam safe on all interior surfaces?

Not all. We keep it away from screens, some soft-touch coatings, and adhesive-backed trim.

Does steam sanitize the cabin?

High-temperature steam significantly reduces surface grime and bacteria on hard surfaces, but we do not make medical claims about it.
