Scratch Reduction and Blemish Work
Assessment and machine work on light scratches, scuffs, and paint transfer.
Tight street parking produces a predictable set of marks: bumper scuffs from parallel parking, door-edge dings in narrow garages, and paint transfer where something rubbed the panel.
How much of that can be fixed depends entirely on depth. If the mark is in the clear coat, polishing works. If your fingernail catches in it, the damage has gone deeper and polishing will not remove it.

What we can usually improve
- Scuffs where another vehicle or object transferred paint onto your panel
- Light bumper rash from parallel parking
- Swirl clusters around door handles and the trunk lip
- Shallow marks that do not catch a fingernail
What needs a body shop
Scratches through to primer or metal, dents, and cracked bumper covers require refinishing or panel work, which is outside what detailing can do. We will tell you that up front rather than polishing around it.
Frequently asked questions
Can you fix a key scratch?
Only if it stayed within the clear coat, which is uncommon. Deep key marks need refinishing.
Do you do touch-up paint?
We do not perform refinishing work. Our scope is machine polishing of the existing finish.
