SUV and Crossover Detailing
Crossovers and three-row SUVs, including the cargo areas that take the real abuse.
SUVs carry more of everything: more passengers, more gear, more dog, more beach sand. The cargo area is where that shows first, and it is the part most owners give up on cleaning themselves.
There is also simply more vehicle — more glass, a large roof panel that collects everything falling from trees and sky, and taller sides that need proper reach to wash safely.

Areas that need extra attention
- Cargo floor, side pockets, and the seam behind the folded third row
- Third-row seats and the gap where they stow
- Roof and rear hatch, which collect the most fallout and sap
- Rear glass and wiper area, which get filthy from aerodynamic dirt draw
- Roof rails and crossbar mounts where grime packs in
Family and adventure use
If the vehicle regularly runs to Ocean Beach, Tahoe, or trailheads in Marin, expect sand in the cargo carpet backing and salt film on the lower panels. Both need more than a vacuum — see carpet cleaning and paint decontamination.
Pets in the back are common enough that pet hair removal is worth budgeting time for.
Frequently asked questions
Do you charge more for a three-row SUV?
Yes, larger vehicles take meaningfully more time inside and out, so the quote reflects size and condition.
Can you detail an SUV in a low-clearance garage?
Often the roof is the constraint. Tell us the ceiling height and we will plan around it or suggest moving the vehicle outside for the exterior portion.
